Gauteng Weightlifting will require all Athletes to Complete the appropriate WADA Education Program

  • Talented Athletes Education Program (minimum)
  • National Level Athletes Education Program
  • International Level Athletes Education Program (recommended)

Those who will be taking part in the up and coming Senior Gauteng Championships 2022 in June will be required to complete the minimum National Level Athletes Education Program

The International Level Athletes Education Program will be mandatory for every lifter who competes at National Championships. Those who choose to do the Talented Athletes Education Program and go on to be selected for Team SA, will still need to do the International Level 

The course is at no charge, it just takes some time to complete, but in the interests of Clean Sport lets stand together. Once you have Completed the Course you will be issued a Certificate,

This Certificate must be uploaded in the Gauteng Clean Sport Portal.

All the certifications are valid for 2 years.

What course must you do? It depends on the type of lifter you are.

Development Lifter
