CrossFit Jozi East reigned in the new years for our Weightlifters with the first competition of the year – the Interclub Lift Off, hosted at their facilities in Brentwood Park, Gauteng.
The competition was beautifully organised and set up by the CrossFit Jozi East team, the venue buzzing with excited lifters getting ready for their first competition of the new year.
We saw many of our Master’s lifters compete, as this particular competition was a qualifying competition for the later SA vs AUS Masters competition.
It was a strong start for our athletes and a great indication of the year’s competitions to come – from new faces to veterans of the sport, everyone had great performances.
This was also the setting for the AGM, where the new Executive Committee was voted in, signifying change and a fresh start for the Gauteng Weightlifting Committee.
